or afternoon. lol Alyssa is her name. Pearl is good but their sauce is way too sweet for me. 4 Rivers in Gainesville sucks, I don't know how they stay in business. tried 4 rivers in gville twice, sucked twice.

4 Rivers had a store in Atl. on Marietta St. near tech. It was OK but it's gone now. A Jim n Nicks is near me and it is good and consistent. been to Jim & Nicks in Murfreesboro several times. Was good every time, i really like their catfish.

The quality of most chain BBQ places is about the same. The only thing that separates them is the sauces. If you have a good spicey mustard sauce or a spicey Carolina mop sauce to dip my fries and BBQ in it will work.

Just got back from the Sonny's on Archer rd in Gville.
Special today, ribs, pork and 2 sides for 12 bucks. Not bad, and their mustard sauce is pretty good. Got to ax for it though, it's not in the bottles.
And yeah...I don't need sweet sauce or sweet women. They're all bitches when you get down to it so why be picky?

I ain't never found any store bought bar-be-que that I liked. although I did once get some brisket at a shack off I-10 in Texas that was terrific ...

I can deal with the fat but dry is a turn off. Sometimes they hold it too long under heat. It may have been good at first but to comply with the regulations they have to keep it at a certain temperature and after awhile it dries up.
