Made a quick easy meal tonight...Kielbasa and kraut. Brown the sausage in a little butter.....add the kraut with a little salt, pepper, garlic powder and a touch of brown sugar. I added fresh thyme because I had some in the fridge. It comes out very tasty if you like kraut.

Grilled shrimp & squash, baked orange roughy, steamed corn, maters/onions/feta with Balsamic and a nice Chenin Blanc.

I just fried 4# of gator, got some ciabatta rolls, lettuce, onions and homemade remoulade. Frozen french fries and homemade ice cream sandwiches for dessert.
Burnt my fingers again, that is to be expected though.

Homemade ice cream on pepperidge farm bordeaux cookies are the shizznit of icecream sandwiches. FYI We usually make them with toll house cookies, these are better.

Just pulled 2 wild Turkey breasts out for tonight. A good long gravy bath w/some onions and poured over mash taters, broccoli on the side. I was going to use deer cube steak but found more turkey than I thought. I really gotta get rid of this chest freezer and go with an upright.

Had some ribeyes and the last crawfish tails from last season. My wife is leaving tomorrow for a month in the Philippines and she won’t be eating that there. I’m staying home with pet duty and the 24 hour trips to get there aren’t my cup of tea anymore unless it’s a necessity.

That was the problem with the chest freezer. What we rememberd putting in there was always buried at the bottom. We used gloves and a folding table, to sort through everything. We bought an upright and can see everything. Wife loves it.

Had leftovers since the trash goes out in the morning. Pulled a couple of baocn wrapped fillets for tomorrow night and gonna make crab stuffed grouper Thursday.
