Fried Panko Pinks
forgot to take a picture before we ate all of them.
I'm going to make them again. Maybe I can control my munchies long enough to snap a pic.
That bulldog pic is great!

At lake house. Carry out buffet. Pizza, Italian beef, fried chicken, Taco Bell.
Don’t want Mrs to have to cook anymore. She needs to “retire” more than me.

Yesterday was a double cheese burger with grilled onions, bread & butter pickles, ketchup and mayo. Burger is seasoned with a little low sodium Dale's, S & P, garlic powder & everglades heat. Wife had the usual blue cheese burger. Attachment Deleted

It’s late and I have been mowing all day. Thankful that I prepped last night and this morning. Weber is getting hot for a 3# picanha and some crab stuffed portobello’s. Chimichurri is waiting.

Not dinner, but breakfast. Had some leftover bell peppers from the other night and took them with some onion and sausage yesterday and cooked them. Put them in the fridge until this morning. Took some eggs, the pepper/onion/sausage mixture, salt, pepper, a little bit of milk, and some cheddar cheese and made an egg bake or egg casserole. First time trying it and it took slightly longer than the 30 minutes the recipes claimed to cook, but it was rather delicious. Came out really fluffy, which I did not expect.

Grilled burgers. Fortunately it is so damn hot out, I didn't have to light the charcoal!

Breakfast time again, this time Biscuits with homemade sausage gravy. I had half the sausage roll left and didn't want it to go to waste.
Got to go back to boring healthy cereal in the morning.

This is the marinade I use for Korean beef ribs. There is something about the pear that really gives it that extra flavor.
⅓ cup soy sauce ⅓ cup brown sugar ⅓ cup rice wine 1 tablespoon sesame oil 2 teaspoons black pepper ¼ teaspoon cayenne or gochujang 1 medium onion, peeled and quartered 8 garlic cloves, peeled 1 small Asian pear, peeled, cored and quartered (or use an ordinary pear or tart apple) 1 1-inch chunk of ginger, peeled

Did you make the gravy cad? Or go with the packet? We use them all the time in a pinch, nothing beats real milk gravy though.

I had not had biscuits and sausage gravy in years and was craving it.

And mirin for the rice wine. I also add honey, black strap molasses and fish or oyster sauce.
