I like the Chinese fried wings best... But if they're cut up I want them Cajun burn your lips off hot. I forgot about the Chinese deep fried. There is a Chinese place near me that we get them occasionally that are awesome.

Even though there ain't much meat on them, I still liked to nibbles on the tips.

Decades ago I worked as a chef (cook) for a guy who owned a restaurant in St Pete Beach, Mulligans. He was from Buffalo and brought the recipe for the wings. We sold those things by the truckload. Even to this day there ia no better wing than Buffalo. Personally, I prefer the wing and not the drumette.

Breaded and drenched in some sort of syrupy garlic sauce. Then dipped in good blue cheese. That makes me want some now.

Now you guys make me want to try them next time I get Chinese food. I thought they were unique to that one takeout place in Ocala we lived near. But when we moved to far north Florida we found that both of our go-to takeout places in two different towns both have them done about the same. The recipe is slightly different from place to place, just like how General Tso’s chicken may vary from place to place. But it seems to be the same overall dish. Breaded, deep-fried, with a dark sauce.

There was a place here in Jax called "Wing It". The owners moved here from Buffalo in the mid 80's. Best wings in town. Unfortunately after 30 plus years of operation it was a COVID casualty. The owners said between the lack of business during, the supply shortages and employee shortages after they had enough and closed the doors. I miss that place.

8 free range whole wings was about 2.2 pounds. Garlic and rosemary roasted brussel sprouts and red potatoes and olive oil, garlic, ghee and green onion salsa.

Man that did it. I’m headed to KFC. Extra crispy. Not the best. It fast and easy. I just have to quit looking at food threads. 😋
