Will be landing there about 4:00PM. He has a young lady picking me up and taking me to his place. Four days of fishing, swimming and getting my head on straight. Will post up daily. Be safe folks.

I’m thinking 4 days isn’t enough time. If I was younger I think I’d want 7 days for FISHING and 7 days for fishing. Could be mixed up a bit though.

I wish i was going, not even close to worried about bikinis in a fishing area like that. I'd ask him for a room with a lock on the door to keep em out so can get some sleep and be up early to drag his ass out out from whatever pile of women he's under and out fishing in the morning. Been w a few pretty women before, but never been to such a fishing paradise...

Been w a few pretty women before, but never been to such a fishing paradise... First rule, is never important. Second rule, get up early and catch bait. Third rule is catch fish. Bonefish are easiest, which defies logic. Permit are automatic, they are borderline piranhas . Tarpon are like stupid. I could catch a tarpon in my sleep. Gotta run 20 miles for the snook. Still shaking my head. |

Sometimes, after a corresponding with someone you get a feel for them, and although I have not personally met white bacon, yet, which I plan to do in the future, I think he is a person with a great heart. He just doesn’t like to put up with bullshit. I hope in the not too distant future because we are a bunch of old farts, that we can have a Belizean bash.

Same here - but my wife likes to find reasons to cancel trips. We've cancelled a camping trip to dry tortugas, a trip here and trip there, and finally a trip to Costa Rica this year. It is like WTF? Went hunting in WY this past fall and had a great time. Told her my next trip planning will be Alaska fishing and she is welcome to join me but I will not be cancelling if she finds a reason not to go. That's a pricey trip for what you get - the airfare is 1/3 the cost. I have no issues with the wife and like to travel with her but she likes to stay home and do mundane stuff - her fav vacation is a condo on the beach. I'm supposed to hang around and do beach stuff. I can only watch so many asses before that's boring. Typically chase sand fleas and surf fish, chase turtles at night, make drinks - rinse off and soak in the pool while dinner cooks on the grill after sand in my crack all day, go on a party or charter boat 1 day so I don't go Jacky on her. I'm up for anything fishing. |

I would not be going on a trip like that at this point in my life to find young women. Meeting people and doing a little fishing and eating conch and fresh fish would be good enough for me if it was to ever happen.
