It's actually because of the belief that the Fed is on target to cut rates, as inflation continues to moderate, which reduces the interest rate risk of owning gold. Also, emerging market central banks are increasing their gold holdings. And the geopolitical risk that the war in Ukraine poses, as well as the possibility that Trump might win.

Sir. You are correct. Everyone has the right to vote for whoever they want. However, for instance, if RFK Jr Is polling 10% and Joe Biden and Donald Trump are polling 45% each wouldn’t you consider voting for RFK Jr throwing a vote away? I would, but that is only my opinion.

I think it is up to each of us to vote for whoever we want for whatever reason we want....or not....including, as you put it, a "wasted" vote.
Had you stuck to "vote your conscience", without qualification, then I would agree.

He did nothing to drain the swamp. He just appointed his own cronies to positions of power. He increased the debt more in 4 years than any other President. He cut taxes for the wealthy, reducing revenue and increased spending in 2018 and 2019, after he promised he was going to balance the budget. That was dangerous to our country, since as you like to point out, the debt is unsustainable. Trump made it worse and he will continue to make it worse if re-elected. Trump can't handle a crisis, Covid prove that. The man went from lock down the economy to inject bleach. He was going to replace Obamacare with a better health insurance that we never saw and he still preaches that lie. He even promised more tax cuts if you would re-elect him.
