Lol... I guess there is proof in the pudding. Nice work son.
Can you find me what the USFWS spends at LOXNWR killing lygodium and malelueca? I don't think they have much hydrilla left on the refuge at this point, but I do see the spray boats in there from time to time.

I remember it well, Meat, and I agree with you 100%... a barren wasteland... but I'll add > WITH EVEN GREATER RESTRICTIONS FOR ACCESS THAN AT ANY OTHER TIME IN HUMAN HISTORY.
The only common living thing you see along that levy now is all the fags in tights riding their gay $3000 bicycles and sipping propel from a bottle with a nipple.

You can bet that budget has only increased in the years prior.

Who supposedly made the claim that the state doesn’t target hydrilla? It gets sprayed by the state all the time. Boaters frequently complain to them about areas that aren’t accessible due to topped out hydrilla and the agencies respond by spraying it.
Interesting to see the treatment cost per acre for the different invasives. Thanks for sharing.
The only invasive I don’t see the state spraying much of is cogon grass. That stuff is all over the state roadways.

At just about every meeting ive ever attended FWC has implicitly expressed they only spray hydrilla when necessary for flood control(structures) or (navigation). Somehow or another thousands of acres of un necessary hydrilla is sprayed and killed. They used to be able to say that high water killed the hydrilla, now we all know that has been another lie for many years now.

Last meeting I was at we were told the aquatics spray boats could not transport the mixed chemicals over the road back to their base. So, all those years that guys like Skip (Navigator) and others said they watched the spray boats dump their poison randomly in the water were telling the truth.
I guess you can legally transport thousands of gallons of fuel and other chemicals over the road for hundreds of miles (if licensed) but you'll do jail time if you try to carry a couple hundred gallons of excess Aquathol-K over the levy if it's already mixed.
So there you have it. You're charged to spray 1500 acres in area A, and you're watched through gps monitoring to make damn sure you don't stray, but after you've sprayed your area you have to dump the leftover chems because you cannot transport it over the levy... fucking ridiculous. Not only killing some weeds, but also everything else...

Not only that Mak but I’ve personally watch the spray boats clean out their chemical tanks with lake water at the end of the day. The last time I watch one do it was on the outside of the reef. I watched him spraying down the edge (where there was nothing alive to spray)then rinsing out the tank with lake water when he was finished. It’s such bullshit.
