$6.99 a quart for Valvoline at the local NAPA store. Best price I found last week.
I went to check the receipt online and noticed the price is now $12.29 a quart for the same stuff. But Google shopper still shows the $6.99 I paid. Glad I bought it when I did.

I watched the 1963 Daytona 500 on Youtube. It was broadcast in 1963 on ABC's Wide World of Sports.
They did cut away twice for an Alaskan dog sled race but the coverage was pretty good.
Tiny Lund won the race.

The trees guys will be back tomorrow to remove one tree of ours and cut some big limbs off another. I could go solar now with the amount of sun the roof will get. I went ahead and bought a water pump for the jeep and will install it and a thermostat tomorrow. Could change the oils in the front and rear axles and transmission if there is time too. Three bolts broke and I had to drill one out and re-tap the hole. Nothing is ever simple. Got to run to Ace and buy new bolts now.

Worked on a couple of mowers for some customers and ordered parts this morning. Built and installed tomato cages this afternoon. About to wind it up for today and indulge in a good bourbon drink.

Pulled purge float outta a rust bucket and replaced. Pulled fitting where purge pressure transducer is and check valve stuck. Cleaned , but still sticking. Ordered the $938 replacement. A bit much, but summer here and a hospital. Then with co worker, looked at a:c unit in hr. Nearly impossible blower motor to get to. Hopefully just replacing bad capicator fixes.

I replaced a winch on a airboat trailer and loaded boat on the trailer. It was one I had been getting ready for froging. I delivered to a friend at his camp and helped him change out a gearbox on another airboat.

Painted the first coat of bed liner and almost died between the heat, respirator, and paint overalls. Taking a break and will go back out and spray the next coat in an hour after some water and cooling off. Too damn hot! I had to brush some corners and hard to spray areas and stuff which made the first coat take a long time. I am just spraying the second coat and should be quicker and not kill me like the first coat did.
Edit: Got the second coat on and it could use a third to fix a couple places I sprayed too heavy, but I used all the product and it looks good enough for me, so screw it.

Doesn't look too bad. By the time I add the seats and some rubber floor mats, should look good. Going to put a pad on the back deck that I extend over where the rear seat was for the dog.

Supervising the Honduran crew putting in driveway extension and back patio. Hard working sons of guns. Now the jefa has decreed we must go shopping for furniture to put on the patio extention... or rugs...or something. 4 oclock cant come fast enough

Went fishing this morning. Went to a Snowy spot and got two small ones on the first drop. Sent one back down on the seaqualizer. Only allowed one per vessel. I think he survived as we did not see a floater. No current so we ran out deeper and picked at the Rosie’s. Don’t worry we iced them down good.

This particular Snowy's eyes weren't popped though. The one we kept had popped eyes.

Planted 20 plants la jefa wanted around the patio extension. Watched grands for a couple hours. Ran to Lowes for mulch installed that moved the bastardly heavy pots back in the patio and now it's 430 pm. Negotiating what to get for dinner we are both tired
