PE 8/9

Got out late and had lines in at 9 15 miles out of port. Some birds working and pulled 3 shorts off them. Kept running east all the way out to 30 miles, nothing. Turned around and headed sw, found a 8 ft piece of bamboo, nothing home and a cut log about 3 ft long, nothing again. Kept running SW and at 18 saw a splash and turned towards it. Put 1 ballyhoo out and pulled by it, it was a shoe. Got tight on a 11 lb bull, gave it to my daughter to fight and pitched another ballyhoo out and go the cow which my son fought. Pitched another bait out and got another little 6lber that my wife fought. Got 3 of them and lost another small one next to the boat. Regrouped and started towards the port. Found a small line 15 out and caught another dz schoolies but keepers this time. Good trip with the family.
