Here we go.... @josh? Seriously? The problem is, then bimini responds, then you respond, then you're both slinging mud at each other. Why is there is a need? Just discuss the topic. STFU

Where the hell are you paying $1.90 for a gallon of milk you're full of shit First of all...... When Bimini said middle... He was speaking in political terms.... The middle the Moderates, etc.
Your milk analogy is a reference to the middle class.....
Those are two very different things....
In any case, not very nice.... And he lives in North Georgia...... Georgia has a strong dairy industry. Florida does as well....
I have not researched it...but I would guess the price difference involves transportation costs, land values, etc.
Their is no reason to disbelieve him..... And you can buy milk cheaper than 5.00 per gallon
Georgia consistently has the cheapest milk prices in the US...
I had to look up the price we paid on a gallon of Milk on Friday via Shipt and Publix.... $5.49 But Publix is high, and it is higher when you order via shipt....
And we will not use all of that gallon of Milk... Three quarters will get poured down the drain... I do not drink milk at all... I do not like it.... I use a little sometimes for cooking... My wife drinks a
small glass in the morning sometimes. But mostly she puts it in her coffee....
We buy a gallon because she says the half gallons taste funny... I do not know and don't care.
but packaging and volume size can affect taste...
I wasn't replying to Bimini, my milk analogy was a general statement for anyone who gives a shit.

Same for Blue Collar folks..

I wasn't replying to Bimini, my milk analogy was a general statement for anyone who gives a shit. Voters historically, have a short term memory. What the price of milk was 3 years ago is not an issue for them. It is the here and now. Inflation has subsided and prices aren't continuing to increase like they were, many prices, like gas have gone down. Voters will vote on where the economy is next year, not where it was last year. It has been proven many times in history. Just look at the 2020 election. Up until covid, most people were better off than in 2016. I thought Trump would cruise to an easy re-election. There was no way he could lose. Then came Covid and it changed everything. The voters voted how they were in 2020, not how good everything was before that and the voters were not happy. How people vote next year will depend on what happens over the next 12 to 15 months. Recession hurts Biden, great economy helps Biden. nobody will remember if milk was cheaper under Trump.

Milk and eggs have been getting much less expensive lately. Paid about $2.59 for a gallon of milk the other day. Eggs were down to about $1.25 a dozen but went up slightly last week. I buy these items several times a week as my wife needs fresh dairy and eggs to keep healthy.

Milk prices are sticking to the subject and a Trump thread. This is a perfect response. Cad let us debate even if you do not agree with what one side or the other is discussing or this will go south like the other forum.

This is not debating OhMy said "BT, you still wearing your face mask to save the human race. Have you got the latest booster?" Neither is this BT said "No one is forcing you to ignore reality, so please proceed" They are personal remarks aimed at each other, not the issue. Debate all you want, just don't get personal. I did not remove either post, i just asked that you and Bimini not make it personal. Everything turning into personal remarks about each other is why the other place went south.

I don't believe I've slung any mud to anyone on this forum, or attacked anyone. If I'm wrong, I'll admit it as I agree with you that it's best to stick to the issues at hand.

Trump has been arrested more times than he's been elected, and it only is going to get worse for him. Elections are won in the middle, and he has done nothing but shed those voters. From my purview, running Trump again is the best thing that could happen to America, as it all but ensures another Biden term. One side privately hopes a health issue, or the DOJ will take out their candidate so they can distance themselves without angering his base, and the other prays that it doesn't happen to theirs. Ignoring the political effects of the Dobb's decision, and pretending it's not going to make a difference, when every election since has shown it will, is the chef's kiss. Are you really happy with Biden as President? Seriously? Yes.
