Anumber1 (Art) can probably point you in the right direction, if you send him a PM. It’s what he does.
Edit: I see MS already beat me to the suggestion.

He took a pretty bad hit from Helene so his participation might be limited.

Would help to know where you are and how many you want?
A#1 who has already been mentioned wholesales to the Crab Plant in Crystal River which is where he would send you. They tend to be the most reasonable price wise too in this area. There is also Shelly’sSeafood and Cedar Key Seafood in Homosassa.
My buddy runs traps out of Tampa, Tampa Bay Stone Crab Company. I think he is on Facebook or you can DM me for his phone number.
Key Largo Fisheries which a link to has already been posted as well in the post above.
I also have some private sellers in Boca Grande if this is the closest to you I can again give you their number.

Rich folks food... I used to get them for free and now I got to pay for them. My life sucks.. Stone crabs here are at the absurd price of $10BZ or $5/US. Only drawback is you gotta cook em. And you gotta be precise, or else the meat sticks.

I had some shipped to the house in March from floridastonecrab.com. They ship from Hudson FL. We normally go to Cedar key this time of year for our annual stone crab weekend. We pick them up on the way in. We are headed down to Melbourne this weekend instead of CK. I have already found some seafood markets in the area that say they have some. They are pricey but we only get them once or twice a year. They are my favorite seafood to eat...and I eat a lot of seafood.

When we first moved to Chokoloskee Island my bride worked at Earnest Hamilitons Stone Crab fish house. The boats would offload them claws right there and cook them up. She'd bring home a batch any time we wanted them. Lites and undersize were free. Life was good.. My neighbor was a crabber and he'd leave half a 5 gal bucket outside my door...I'd leave him a case of beer...winning

I have my own traps and will get me some as soon as this wind quits. Used to sell them back in the 80's and they were about $6.00 lb. for mixed large and jumbos..today a little bit more. Used to dive lobsters in the 90's and got $4.00 lb. for them. Live I got $4.25. I had a few $500.00 trips. Today they would be $800.00 trips. Too old now to do what I did then.

We used to order from Grimms or go by when at Goodland. They quit shipping and now we have no place to stay in Goodland but we still want them.

I use to set traps every season but people found out that St Andrews bay was full of stone crab and it was easier for divers to rob the traps. I use to seal them but they would just cut the zip ties. Wasn’t worth the hassle anymore.

Two years ago I was flying out of Key West, walked across the tarmac and boarded the plane. Put my luggage overhead and it hit me. I left stone crabs next to my seat in the airport.
Went to the flight attendant and said I had to go back into the airport and She said federal law prohibits me leaving the plane once I've boarded. I said ma'am you don't understand I left 30 pounds of stone crabs in there. She winked at me and turned her back. I bolted down the steps, back across the tarmac, and was greeted by a security officer at the door. He said what are you doing? I said man I left my stone crabs right in there! He said oh shit not stone crabs! He wouldn't let me go back in, but I pointed where I was sitting and he grabbed them for me.
Got back on the plane and everyone clapped. I gave the flight attendant a big bag full when I deboarded in Atlanta

If you know anybody going to the Bahamas, that's where to get 'em. 5 lb bags for $90, all the size of your fist. Frozen, but never watery like some in the U.S. can be. They call them "biters".

I've always been leery of frozen SC claws. They are much cheaper frozen, are the frozen ones any good?
