Nice Barrel and Alfonsino. Good job!
Edit: I just looked at the pics again and the tail and back dorsal is different than a Alfonsino. Maybe some kind of deep water Toro but not sure.

I love to deep drop. Not very "sporting" but you can put a bunch of some of the best tasting fish there is in a hurry.

Sux! Lost about 40 lbs of prime vacuum packed filets due to the damn Milton power outage. Booked to go twice next year in June and September.

That sucks. If anything, it's a reminder to eat our take faster

Bridge - we lost a good bunch of fish several years ago. Since then, I’ve been eating them in short order. Not a single fillet in the freezer at this time. Should be catching specs shortly.

12,500 watt tri-fuel generator is now sitting in the garage. I'm fortunate enough to have natural gas here so there's no need to store gas that'll go bad in a few months or propane. I usually don't keep large amounts of fish but I can't always catch 10 pound yellowfins or stop fishing in a 3 day trip. Lesson learned, but the good thing about my purchase is we won't get any more direct hits here in the Tampa area. Had a 30+" snow storm about 8 years ago and bought a snow blower after digging out. It sat in my shed until I retired and moved to FL. Never snowed more than an inch or after I bought it.
