Always like your adventures that you share with us. How much rainfall does that area get?

Always like your adventures that you share with us. How much rainfall does that area get? Average rainfall is 16" - 20", tho' it varies widely with the summer monsoons. The last few years - less than that.

Living in Florida where a elevation change of 2-3 FEET causes a alteration in vegetation types to look at such as you post is very interesting......

Very nice and well done. I miss the Colorado Rockies but I sure don't miss Elk hunting in them.. Wore me out at 30 years old. High country for sure

Beautiful picture of the Pereguine Falcon. You seem to be in your element out there. Florida was not very nice to ya.

Awesome pics and write up gittum. Glad you’re doing better out there. Appears Gladdy stayed home… Nooo...Gladdy goes everywhere with me. Always...except when I'm going to the market on a very hot day. Huh....thinking more on it, I made that page long before I adopted Gladdy. She's been with me since Sept. 2015.

Heat, humidity, ticks and rotten neighbors can all be tolerated, but all of them together got to be a little much. Much happier back "home."
