I miss Bonanza/ Ponderosa . They were very clean around here. Great bargain too for a steak and food bar. Could get the food bar by itself but the steaks weren't much more cost .

If you saw what goes on in the kitchens of restaurants you probably wouldn’t eat out again. Like TRT says, germs make you stronger and builds up your immunity. Winning? Bullshit, the vast majority are governed and run by professional hardworking experienced General Managers, Asst Managers, Sous Chef's, Pastry Chef's, Executive Chef's, Kitchen managers, cooks and the list goes on. Unless of course you're eating at a pig sty that no intelligent person would walk into... Psst, I know what the fuck I'm talking about, I spent a significant part of my life in there.

I have seen excellent clean kitchens and have seen kitchens so bad I didn’t want to help install a stove in it.

That's what I like about Waffle House you can watch em cook your food, no surprises! Me and a buddy were coming home from working on the road. I don't even remember where we were we were tired after working 12 hours then driv8ng God only knows ows how many more. Anyway we decided it was time for a hot meal and stretch our legs so we pulled into a waffle house. We ordered our food and drinks. Sitting there when I notice he's staring at the cook. I turn around just in time to see him link his fingers again and pick up our cheese to put on the burgers. We left money on the table for the drinks and left. 😅

Once the roaches are settled in they are difficult to keep eliminated.
You almost need to close for a few months and bomb every 3 days then toss all the equipment and start over.

When I see the health inspection for a restaurant and it has a score of 98 or above, I say bullshit. That inspector didn't do his job or was paid off. Even if the restaurant is tipped off and knows the inspector is coming, a perfect score can hardly be accomplished. One dish rag in the wrong place or on the floor. Little details (most don't matter) cause point deductions. A 90-95 score looks to me like a establishment that is trying real hard to be sanitary and keep food properly stored.

I remember eating in a Shoney's one day and watching a German Roach crawling on the top of the seat at one of the booths. I'm seating there thinking "This is going to be some funny chit when that roach gets on that womans shoulder". Well luckily it never happened and that was the last Shoney's I ever went to.

I prefer to prepare my own food. I do not like most restaurant food! EZPZ decision for me. get a bag of groceries at Publix and fix some sandwiches ... made fresh and just like I like them

Roaches pretty much only spread what's already there. They are also easy to get rid of if you use the right bait and stay consistent with it.

Want to rid your house of almost all insects?
Boric acid powder. It’s the gift that keeps on giving. Once in place it will kill insects for years as the dead insects are eaten by living insects and that kills the insects again.
However, it takes killing several generations of roaches before a building is completely cleaned out

I put boric acid powder inside the walls of my man cave/barn when we built it. It works, when I see a roach in there he ain't doing too good.

I was sitting at a very famous restaurant in Michigan talking to the owner, I was his relationship manager at the bank. This is very high class white table cloth. As we are talking a HUGE cockroach walks out on the table. The guy grabs it in his hand, squashes it and just keeps on talking as if nothing happened. I think it just happens sometimes.
