Someone local bought a new Jaguar F Type recently and I've seen it around town several times lately. I did stop to check it out closely. No idea of specs or price (surely very high) but I'm here to say it's one of the most beautiful cars on the road...it's a real grabber. Check 'em out.

My SIL has a Jag. I believe its a F type. Good looking car.

It looks like they tried to copy the AMG GT cars. It's a good looking car, but I like the AMG better.

On the older models, you needed to own two, because one was in the shop all the time, usually with Lucas ignition problems. Pre 69. The new ones are just beautiful

Jaguars were always styling and profiling. Even in the 50s and 40s. Beautiful cars. When I bought my '57 Triumph TR3 in '64 they had an XK140 on the lot that I really liked and it was in my price range. Test drove it and walked away - like driving an older truck without power steering, non-synchro 1st and a stiff shifter....but it were a nice looking car. When the XKE came out... ~'62...?? - I lusted for one. Sexiest car I ever saw but waaay out of my range. Then in '69 I got to drive a friend's XKE coupe and it just didn't work for me. I'm only 6'1" (then) and ~175# but I was cramped and crunched into the the thing. Sounded great and went like hell but I was very uncomfortable. Stuck with my StingRay.

Sure was fun to drive, tho'....when it was running.
