The video shows what we did with the scraps from Sunday's fish.......which was kinda surprising. Fact is we'd put the scraps in there on a lark because one of the granddaughters we coming the next day and figured small crabs or whatever would be interesting to her. You can see what happened. And then......Tuesday........we took the shrimp back to St. Augustine inlet.....results of that below.........and yes......scraps from Tuesday are in the traps.

Yes - shrimp eat scraps, and even each each other in the bait tank.

Almost every night trip I run down here in south Florida - revolves around shrimp... They're whats for dinner for every specie. I long ago quit using the real thing, we toss plastic shrimp on spin or plug casting gear, when we're not fly fishing with small white flies that are the same size as the shrimp...
