Maybe there is some truth to this - those voting D would never think that the vaxx could hurt anyone and that it was a necessity. Those pesky R voters, well, ummm, I know a bunch of them that got vaxxed. Hmmm. (this is sarcasm) Maybe the vaxxes just didn't do as well as they could have if they'd been tested? Someone mentioned the immunity thing, surprised if the lawsuit goes thru. Congress gave em immunity. And then there were the mandates. Maybe the immunity thing only counts if you voluntarily took it? Or maybe it doesn't count if there is a mandate? Hmmm. Be interesting to see what shakes out. |

Immunity? Pfizer and the United States government were partners on that vaccine. I’m wondering if the “immunity” could hold up under that circumstance. ? That's probably why the immunity was allowed in the first place. My bet is that it would hold up. |

The immunity you guys speak of is the 1986 law that protects drug companies that introduce new vaccines. The Fed has a program and a fund the drug companies pay into to compensate anyone who has drastic side effects from new vaccines.
It would not apply to a state or even an individual suing a drug company for claimed negligence. However, proving it will be quite difficult and I doubt the states win, more likely a waste of taxpayer money. If enough states join and the legal costs get expensive, Pfizer could make a settlement offer and attach a fee to all the drugs they sell to cover it, similar to the tobacco settlements. So much per year, based on how much fee is collected. The consumer pays for it in the end. The price of your medicine goes up.
It should have been in politics to begin with.
