I am planning a trip in August to Marathon. I am thinking of booking a charter with Captain Medero , Big Game Charters. Does anyone have any info on him? Thank you in advance.

I would have believed as many people on here frequent the Keys and as long as Capt Medero has supposedly been in Marathon at least someone would have posted something.

Wish I could help you but I have only fished “local “ on my boat or a friends boat. The only time I’ve been on charters is when I was out of the country.

Appreciate it Conchy. I was just hoping that someone knew a little something. I understand what your saying about using charters when out of town. That is what I was planning on as well. I am from Fl. But, not the Keys. And for the price of the charter I was just trying to do some research prior to dropping that kind of money.

I can't help with any input on Big Game sportfishing, but, if you're looking for an alternative, I have used Sea Squared Charters twice in Marathon, both times I was super happy, would definitely recommend them.
