Having difficult time with above post. We left clearwater wed. afternoon on a 66 Viking. First stop was 288 miles west at the floaters. We took 200 plus live baits- mostly cigars and scaled sardines. Yellowfin bite was good at night on the deep rigs, not so much around the shallower rigs. There were plenty of BFTs also. Did a lot of trolling during the day. We went 1 for 2 of Blues. Ended up keeping 7 yellowfins, biggest was in the 60's and a few BFTs. Not much else going on. There was a strange absence of Mahi. Fished 3 days and left the boat on Orange beach for the summer.

Everyone will be eating good for a minute. Sounds like the boat is going to be ready to go, I hope you get to go again (a time or 3).

What's with the headsets?
That's so the captain can talk to the crew without shouting from the bridge or tower

What's with the headsets? They are a total game changer. Everyone on the boat knows what's going on. No more yelling and screaming up to the tower or galley. You can be making lunch and you know when there is a fish in the spread!
