I do not think courts are rigged and they try not to be biased. But we are all human with our faults. A liberal New York jury is likely to lean more left than a jury from Alabama. An all-white jury from Alabama is likely to be more prejudiced toward blacks than the liberal jury of various races from New York. But if you do the crime in the wrong jurisdiction and get caught, you got to live with the consequences.

For decades, Donald Trump has gotten away with criminal behavior.
If not for the statute of limitations, he'd be in prison right now.
He all but dared the judicial system to bring him down.
It finally happened.
Tough toenails.
If there were improper procedures, the appeals court can handle it.
For now, he can whine and snivel until the cows come home.
I predict he'll be sent to Rikers Island for contempt of Court.
The felony charges might get a slap on the wrist, but his contempt was much more serious.
He will do time for contempt, and if the past is prologue, he'll probably make it even worse.

All courts are biased, from the lowliest to SCOTUS. Always have been and always will be.

You forgot the actual problem -- the guilty defendant turned convinced felon and his crimes against the people.

Judges are just like the rest of us. They have their own personal view on things. Doesn't mean they can't be impartial

Everything will be reversed on appeal. The smiling Trump haters that are insisting that this kangaroo court trial proceeding was fair and that courts arenโt biased will be crying upon reversal and will be complaining about how biased the court system is.
What a joke. ๐คฃ๐

It's been known for years that court cases are shopped in different districts for either more or less bias..9th is liberal, 5th conservative.. But occasionally there is a ruling in liber land that is suprising.. like some of the Benitez ones.. So yes bias exists, and is used as a factor where to bring something to trial..
Follow some of your hot topics and you'll see.. Gun rights, and issues, abortion, etc..

^ While true, the hush money case wasnโt shopped. It was prosecuted in the district the offense took place.

If the appeals court decides to overturn the case, he will just be retried and convicted again based on the evidence.

If the appeals court decides to overturn the case, he will just be retried and convicted again based on the evidence. I don't know, by the time the appeals are over it will be a year or two down the road. If Trump wins, it is almost impossible to go after a sitting President with state charges, which means nothing happens until 2028 and I doubt even Bragg will want to redo this thing then. If Trump loses the election, the federal charges facing him will make this look a minor inconvenience.
