LinkedIn is a website used to professionally network and find new jobs.
Sounds like you should go to your preferences and turn off all notifications when you add / modify content on your profile.
I am pretty sure the default is anytime you make a change (add or edit) people inside of your network get notified.
Same holds true if you look at someone's profile, if that person pays their monthly premium they can see you viewed their profile.

I did that today along with blocking as many of these “co-workers” as possible. If you like your current job just ignore the noise. Keep your head down, headset on and design good graphics. If they are worried you are going to leave the company, they already like your work.
