Started the day kite fishing to the north off of the palms. Lots of flyer from 40’-150’ rare blue water was in super close. Had to quit fishing pilchards on the kite cause the bonitas were bad. Got 1 cut off from a big king. Couple short muttons and had one probably 8-10lb range get sharked 20ft from the boat. Had to be in early so decided to troll back got 6 blackfins, couple in the 10lb range off of beach place in 220-350. All blackfin were loaded with small flyers and ate between 12:30-1:30. Definitely a day saver.
