"The mere anticipation of a Trump win will cause" ... a run on shiny Black boots and shirts in basic Brown.
High School marching bands from coast to coast, hoping for a shot at the inaugural parade, will be learning to Goose Step.

There's a small part of me that wants Trump to win just so I can harass the MAGA folks for 4 years about prices not going down. I wonder what their excuse will be then? LOL You are correct. Not a damn thing the president of the US can do about prices. And yes everyone seems to be spending money. Just go out on the town on a Friday night-Sunday night. People definitely spending plenty of money. Sure, that's it, no real power at all. More of a figurehead. The mere anticipation of a Trump win will cause gas prices to fall in anticipation of energy friendly policies. And when the price of energy stops skyrocketing so does the price of everything else.

Ok Nancy P. King of job losses. Sir, you were the King of Covid lockdowns and should know better why jobs were lost. It was people like you that insisted lockdowns and forced vaccinations. You have mud all over your face and should be happy we cannot pull out the old forum and nonsense you spewed there during Covid. Now go put on your face diaper, Covid is still out there and you can never be too safe. Who can even remember who was in charge?

You know where I live.I never believed in corruption until I saw it. I live in candyland. The United States is the most corrupt country on the earth. Period. Here, we just pay for weddings and fishing trips. It is very polite corruption. I don't know how you people suffer it.

No, the democrat SA wears black shirts and masks. And sometimes keffiyehs. And that's the only "street muscle" we saw under Trump's first term, democrat supporting thugs.

Why do your graphs contradict each other? In any case the second graph shows increasing production right up until covid, and then production under Biden slowly returning to pre pandemic levels. And you're bragging about that?

That's not to say corruption is a non-issue here, but it's simply no comparison to other parts of the world.

In the US it's silent, so to say. Not out in the open. Here is child's play compared to back home.
Old story, but I will repeat it. Hillsborough County commission. Seven. I had all seven. Even the gay guy. Hell, I owned the CA. Went 7--0 on like thirty zoning votes in a row.
County commissioners are cheap. 300k. Every four years.

You are one funny man. That is pure bullshit. Opec will cut production and drive prices back up. You seem to forget oil is a global commodity. OPEC wants $70 to $80 a barrel oil and the Shale oil producers need that price range to make money. We are producing record amounts of domestic oil because the current price makes it profitable. Prices go down, no profit, reduced domestic production. Only thing driving down gas prices significantly is a recession or another pandemic. I expect $3.00 is the new base for retail prices with $3.50 being the average with $70 to $80 a barrel oil prices.

Now my truck goes in for oil changes about every 6 to 9 months with 3000 or less miles on it. My brother drives less than I do. Gas prices do not bother me any more. Hell. I will ride the bike to the store if prices get too high. Why would i yell at you, if you don't need a vehicle don't own one.

Some of us still care about the price of gas. My observation is that OPEC has less control over the price of gas when we are an oil exporting country. Side benefit: Russia and Iran have less money for hijinks and malarky when the price is lower. But I'm sure there's great reasons to keep the US beholden to OPEC and to enrich terrorist nations, along with your not giving a shit.

Plus my back can't take all that bumping these days. We are currently an oil exporting country and a net energy exporter. We produced more oil than we consumed in 2022 when prices increased. We are the largest producer in the world currently. But OPEC and Russia still produce 40% of world supply. That controls the price of oil. The shale producers need $70 a barrel to make a profit. They won't produce if the price goes too low, like they did in 2020 and 2021 when prices collapsed, which caused prices to increase in 2022 and production to increase. You do not seem to understand how the commodity market works and that oil is traded on a global scale. OPEC announces a production cut and the market will react. Domestic production will support it because they have to. Everyone is the business of drilling wants oil prices at $70 to $80.

The more oil we put on the market, the less OPEC can control the price, and the less money Russia, Iran and Venezuela will have. So let's open up more leases on federally controlled areas, open up ANWR, finish the damn Keystone pipeline already, etc. Domestic oil production is increasing in spite of the Biden administration, certainly not because of administration policies.

You mean like he did when he was president and we did not have rampant inflation? Polls may not mean shit to election outcomes, but I believe they do show us what most Americans concerns are... and guess what, the economy and inflation are always at the top of the list.... Why you ask? Because Biden has done and continues to do a terrible job with the economy. Maybe you can point out when he proposed across the board tariffs like he's doing now. His earlier trade wars cost Americans $230 billion and counting. Your hero was the all time king of job losses, many due to his stupid trade wars. www.cnn.com/2024/03/18/politics/donald-trump-tariffs-trade-war/index.htmlOr maybe it was COVID. Who can tell?🙄
