Had a few hours and didn’t want to launch the boat so went to the Matanzas area specifically Rattlesnake Island to do some land fishing. Fished the intracoastal side and didn’t even get a nibble. I switched over to the inlet side and managed 3 small mutton snapper with dead shrimp. Not much action but beat cutting the lawn.

That place looks so fishy, but it seems like everyone I know never does any good there.

It does look like it has everything to attract fish. It the second time I went there with not much luck. Did see lots of bait fish, tons of fiddlers and a lobster. Oh well, after the 4th madness on the water it’ll be back to boat fishing
