Morning. Day 15. Seem to be moving along quite well....too well. 50 of the 153 fuel rod assemlblies have been moved back into the reactor. Refueling is ongoing around the clock. Fixing to get busy for us. Once the fuel is in the pot they want the monster back on line. There will be a huge push to get it ready. And all work and maintenance will need to be completed promptly. I think we are scheduled till the 7th or 13th. If the fuel is all in in the next couple of days there is no way we will go till the 13th. Only thing I could see hiding us up is the 7300 project. Basically going to all digital controls and such. Getting hard to find parts for the older boards and stuff designed in the 50s and 60s. Some of those circuit boards are as big as a table top computer lol. I give it a couple of weeks max

It's reassuring to know that our nuclear facilities are no longer running on floppy discs.

Cold ... got down to the 30's last night.
A load of "early" planted beans froze solid up in Iowa.
Them's the breaks ... replanting is the farmers only option.
New roof on the garage - replaced the clear panels - now it's dark as a tomb.

Finishing up the PM on this 1200A breaker. Just finished a 3000A this morning. Got one more 1200A to do and we will be rocking and rolling on our end of things. We'll get started on the next one in the morning hopefully done by Thursday or Friday Attachments:
