Wife only eats the flaps, so I eat the drums. If I am not with the wife, I get a mix of both.

I just put a bunch of bacon wrapped backstrap in to marinade a while. Did a maple, spicy coconut vinegar concoction ( garlic, onion, a little soy, cane sugar and a stupid amount of black pepper). They will hit the grill later. Rice and broccoli to follow.
I have to go out and find some flowers to put on that shit now LOL (Just kidding ferris, happy anniversary!!!)

Darn! Tired from the grandkids and feeding them a ton of pancakes for dinner. I wasn’t hungry then, now you guys have made me need a quick sandwich…

Went over to my father’s house who has electricity. Enjoyed some cool air, bacon cheeseburgers, fries and some slice ripe maters with a little salt and pepper. Was a good ending to a hot day.

Beef stew from the pot roast leftovers. I went a little heavier on the red wine than I normally do. It was very tasty.

We had build your own pizza and fire roasted gorgonzola buffalo wings from V's Pizza last night. Tonight I'm going to wrap a couple filets with bacon and make loaded baked potatoes, garlic green beans, mushrooms, and salad.

Tough decision tonight. Either coconut Yellowtail or Chicken Parm. Ate a lot of fish this week so think the Parmesan. Or maybe a burger?

Publix had Marie Callender's Chicken Pot Pies on sale, which we both like, so the wife heated those up for dinner. She also reheated some chicken wings which she made the other night for her ladies' club get together, that she marinates, for 24-48 hours, in a soy sauce/water mixture that also has a ton of fresh garlic chopped up in it. I may have a slice of Publix Pecan (pronounced the Georgia way) a little later after walking the dogs.

I usually grab the Marie Callender too. Decent cheap meal.
