Iranians are pretty modern and secular behind closed doors. They almost overthrew the mullahs. But then Obama happened and he pulled the plug on American support for the uprising. I have said this before. Iran is not Iraq and several other countries in the region with poorly trained military and antique weaponry. No they are not a 21st century fighting force but they do have a lot more discipline and military ability than some. And there has definitely been strides made in reform or overthrow of the mullahs. If Obama did in fact "pull the plug" on supporting Iranian dissidents he probably had reason to. Reason being we probably did not want to create a power vacuum in Iran that would gladly be filled by ISIS. Who Iran and most of the semicivalized Arab world fear. His reasoning was Tony Blinkin, Victoria Nuland, Jake Sullivan, Linda Greenfield, Joe Finer. All are complete failures in every aspect of government service. Some as far back as the Clinton administration. |

They havent had a lot of experience launching missiles so it isnt surprising. How is our hypersonic missile working out? Seems it would be stupid to think they cant adjust and sort out the problems and foolish to underestimate them. If you’re saying they can be dangerous if given the chance to learn from their failures, then you’re making the case as to why they should be preemptively destroyed. I think all countries are sovereign and create whatever they need to defend that sovereignty. It seems very arrogant to think we have the right to destroy anyone we dont like. If we stopped fucking with other countries, maybe we wouldnt have anything to fear. We fueled a 10 year proxy war against Iran that killed millions of Iranians. One day the world is going to look at us and say, USA, you are the most dangerous country and should be destroyed. We have killed MILLIONS AND MILLIONS in the name of what?? Oil? and you talk about destroying another country.
We also fueled a 10 year proxy war with the Soviet Union... and then turned around and did the same thing the Soviets did 10 years later. How do you defend this country destroying?

If you’re saying they can be dangerous if given the chance to learn from their failures, then you’re making the case as to why they should be preemptively destroyed. Now, segue to Ukraine and tell me how many American soldiers are on the ground there. Rather than sacrificing our youth for foreign conflicts (which seriously affect the world stage) isn't it better to invest in those willing to stand up for their own (and ours as well) freedom?

Israel needs to wipe Iran off the face of the earth.
With Iran gone the Middle East conflicts will decrease significantly.
America made a big mistake taking out Sadem Hussein. Although not a good player himself he kept Iran mostly in line.
