Interesting. She may successfully hatch them off or she might abandon for good. Curious about the broken egg shells. Usually if varmints find the nest they eat/destroy all the eggs. I guess the hen could have broken an egg or two if she panic left the nest in a hurry. Usually if she leaves she’ll pull a few leaves or grass over the eggs to somewhat hide them.
