If its true that they don't need hunting licenses and can hunt whenever they want, then I am opening the Church of Ladder day Mennonites right here in Florida...anyone can join for the nominal fee of supplying me with gas money like joel Osteen does...

betcha nobody has done more to improve the houston area and gives more to the community then joel osteens church, if your gonna make that kind of difference maybe i will join. but still want the hunting benefits.

The local hunters that I've met in KY mostly hate them. They say that they have no respect for property lines and believe in if it's brown it's down.
My only experience with them is that they do a great job of processing deer and make great summer sausage.

I am aware of no religious exemptions to hunting licenses in Florida. Can’t speak for other states.

Indians hunt free , fish too.
I've been around them for most of my life and I've never seen one out hunting...ever.
Seen only 1 or 2 Fishing , with big gigs off the Trail bridges.

Meat that’s a loaded question. I was taught not to brag about helping the less fortunate folks out. I don’t ask and know there may be folks on here helping others out significantly. One of the best things is the guy (flacracker) on the fishing forum that takes all those handicapped children fishing. He has a great heart and a true gift.

I watched a video where some guys put a big block of Mennonite by a hog feeder then when a pile of Hogs came in to the feeder he shot the Mennonite with a 30-06 and blowed the Hogs up....

I knew someone that would take yearly trips to Argentina to dove hunt. They would kill hundreds or thousands of dove per trip. They’d eat what they wanted at the lodge and leave the rest lay. The dove were so thick they were like locusts and the purpose of the shoots was to thin their numbers to limit crop damage.
Apparently there’s a lot of poor Mennonites in Argentina. They’ll scavenge the dove fields after a shoot. The fellow told me he once saw a Mennonite boy that was so hungry the boy ate a dove raw right there in the field.
I don’t know much about Mennonite culture. I’ve never been around them.

They can have cars and some use electricity
Many do arranged type marriages too.
They aren’t too bad.
Amish are the ones to watch out for.

I hunted around some in Dublin Ga. A few years back. Good people and would do anything to help you. They own ALOT of land in Dublin. Good farmers. Just DO NOT get on their land .
