7 members of the huk flo grown salt life patagonia florida georgia line duck dynasty pro staff turkey slayers club, only 1 pro got picked in 1st round, he had 4 preference points, others with 2 and 3 got nothing. so every week all 7 pro,s apply for returned permits and all unsuccessful until this morning, who gets picked ,,,, the pro who already got picked in first round. great system fwc has got going here.

Sounds like you ought to be his new best friend and hope he's generous thats the deal, i put them in since most will forget and a couple hardly hunt turkey but i get first choice on being the guest. weird , you would think once you get a permit you shouldnt be allowed a 2nd permit in random draw. makes it tougher for those who havent been picked yet. hopefully this is my last year dealing with fwc and quotas. |

Meat, how does a average Joe get admitted to your elite club?
I pulled a youth hunt in redraws this week for my son at a place I shall not name. We did well there last season. Hopefully we can repeat.

Hopefully we can repeat. first you have to not care much about turkey hunting but always looking for a reason to get outa the house, those guys with little or no experience but available weekends always get there applications looked at first. then you must sign a contract agreeing to take the president first as your guest. i like to keep new members up really late and supply adult beverages the night before then encourage them to take a nap around 6.30 am . i will wake them up if a gobbler comes in and no chance of spooking it, this has never happened before but a bunch of guys have been awakend by a shotgun blast. |
