Got an early start outta Gov, picked up bait from Ashley Bait and headed SE and set up in 350 south of the county wrecks. Wind was outta the N at 10 knots. Hooked up with a triple in 220, lost all 3. Wind died down as it was shifting around to the south. Ran up to the whistle bouy and power fished there, missed a double in 130. Wind started to pick up again outta the south and drift north from there. Lost another sail, caught a 24 inch mutton and then got a 25 inch fin on the flat line. Finally stayed connected on our seventh sail and boated that one. Fished for another 30 mins and got a blackfin bite that got sharked. Also caught 3 sharks. Called it at 330. 1 for 7 sails is not a good way to start the season but had to dust off the gear and it was good action all day.
