I use to do a lot of hog hunting with dogs in my younger years. One we got in Parrish, FL

That’s a big one! I used to trap them when I was younger. I only grabbed and tied the smaller ones…

That’s a big one! I used to trap them when I was younger. I only grabbed and tied the smaller ones… We had caught that hog about 6-8 months prior. I barred him and he grew a shit ton when we caught him again.

I barred him and he grew a shit ton when we caught him again. We worked the dogs Saturday. Had the two young men, my old wore out and slow self and John who owns the dogs and is as good as they get. The young guys, a late 20s Coast Guard Captain and the son of a friend who I've known sense he was just able to walk. Both of the young guys are solid, the son of a friend having been Army Ranger material until breaking a bone in a jump. Anyway.....they were pumped. And hooked. We'll be using that to our advantage..... Only one hag, a eater...... 60-70#.....right off the bat and then spent the rest of the morning frustrated as the other two we got on knew the game and let out for the next county. Both of them we stopped the dogs on as they crossed the road on the other side of which is well over a mike of swamp and a creek. Kind of frustrating.

That’s why we call it hunting Bswiv. Some of those hogs can run awhile. Hopefully there’s a next time.
