Saw a large person riding an e-bike on the sidewalk next to the grocery store the other day. I couldn’t help but wonder why someone obviously needing a little exercise wouldn’t be walking. Same in the woods. Man was made to walk. My back makes it difficult to walk long distances, I have a recumbent pedal trike that i can ride 5 miles without issue. I have thought about one with a pedal assist motor for hills, but so far I just pedal them in low gear. Maybe the person with the E-bike only used the motor to help get up hills. Maybe they did not have a car and used the E-bike to get around town for longer distances. Since you don't know their situation, i would not judge them. From what I have read on here and from a few people know with E-bikes, the advantage is the same as owning a car. Using one in the woods or around town allows you to cover more distance in a shorter period of time. You can see a lot places more going 15 to 20mph than you can going 3 to 5 mph walking

I do appreciate the enlightenment. Maybe I was a little hard on my neighbors. Everyone has a right to enjoy life, so I probably needed a little attitude adjustment. Thumbs up!

I was updated the other day - they're still trying to create a "scientific study" on ebikes to determine next steps.

whatever will decrease hunter participation or interest thats the way fwc will go. That is the truth. History has illustrated this plenty.
