I finally made some.
I’m quite impressed actually, should have listened to woodsrunner(and others) sooner.
Just slathered my new boots down.

I didn’t do much. Ended up with a 1/4 cup sized puck.
Pretty weird consistency, not really greasy but more like wax or soap.
Should be handy for wiping my steel knives after washing them too.

Makes good patch lube for muzzleloaders as well
