I was just a spectator tonight, although had the best catch of the day!
I brought the Aquaholic V back this afternoon from being serviced and she didn’t want to be left alone on the lift, so I called Bob and Tom and arranged a night trip. While loading the boat, Bob’s prescription sunglasses were knocked in the water. Back to the condo for my weighted treble hook and the first cast I hooked the sunglass lanyard and up comes the $500.00 glasses and the day was saved.
We departed at 4:30 and it didn’t take long for Bob to put a Snook in the boat, followed by an 18 inch Sheepshead. We never found the “loaded” dock tonight, although most docks gave us one fish and then we had to move on. Bob kept things exciting putting 3 more Snook in the boat followed by 5 Ladyfish and 1 Lookdown. I wasn’t supposed to fish, although made a dozen casts and landed 2 Snook. Tom was struggling as he led off with a Catfish, although before the night was over he landed 2 Snook. Had a great night with two great friends and a beautiful sunset. Called it a night at 9:30.
8 Snook, 1 Sheepshead, 1 Lookdown, 1 Catfish, and 5 Ladyfish.
