Looks like the disturbance over the Yucatan is gonna be in a perfect position to screw up any chance of fishing this coming weekend.

It should become a tropical storm tomorrow and hit land around Cedar Key late Tuesday or Wednesday according to Windy.com. Doubtful it becomes a hurricane. www.windy.com/?29.683,-82.361,5

Is fishing more important than people's lives and properties? You can fish anytime. Heck , go fishing on Wednesday.

Is fishing more important than people's lives and properties? You can fish anytime. Heck , go fishing on Wednesday. Seeing how I'm living right in the path of the storm with my wife, a house, and a pretty dang good business, you should be able to figure that out without posting up a stupid question. I have zero idea why you would even say that. No one else who posted on here seemed to think I was putting material things, or any harm to any one. If you can find something that even comes close to that, post it. My post was the same as if I was heading hunting, and when I got up it was pouring rain and the wind blowing about 40, and I said, crap, it's too nasty to go. I'm sure you've made comments very simular to that many times. Did you mean that your hunting/fishing trip was more important than people's health?

This storm is going to intensify. Hopefully everyone in its path will be okay. Not sure I would want to be in Steinhatchee on Wednesday, especially if there is significant surge.

I hope everyone is keeping safe, we are seeing on UK TV, some severe storm damage from this hurricane in the Cedar Key area. No more information as to how much of the Big Bend is being affected.
