No it won't. Been really too hot to do much walking so I haven't been there for a day or so. Also this county which includes the WMA is under a malaria alert. What next?

As of yesterday gate still seemed intact and functioning. First archery quota 9/22. If you drew it keep your fingers crossed. Good luck.

I intend to drive in and hope to bump into either the area biologist or a game warden at the info board. Curious how many actually show up for these quota bow hunts in 90 degrees. Still don't know how some of you do it.

First hunt this morning. Gate working as designed. Quota for 15 hunters. Counted 6 trucks. Maybe some carpooled. No FWC or area biologist seen. Very pleasant morning. Not too hot.

Went yesterday. Gate worked great. Bumped into two horse people. Whole area in flux. Go there while you can.

They are lifetime locals. A 3500 home subdivision in the works for the immediate area around this WMA. They're ready to move. This state filling up to the breaking point.

Next week I am off to another state to start investigating opportunities to live in a place with less northern citidiots. I was born in Florida and understand the attraction but I am so tired of people moving here and wanting to change things
