Considering there are over 45 million Americans on the ACA, makes sense those that support the stable genius want to wing it. Forced to have healthcare. Po folk pay lots less than people w a job. Subsidized health care like medicare. |

And many of us that already had health insurance now pay more because of the “Affordable Care Act”.

I’m all for its abolishment.
My healthcare coverage was better before they screwed up our whole healthcare system and made it less affordable for those of us who could already afford health insurance.

Under obama’s plan folks would be penalized for not having health insurance. Trump dropped the penalties. I get a form that gets sent in says i was insured for x year. |

I get a form that gets sent in says i was insured for x year. But you aren't forced, as you admit, since the penalty was dropped. The tax form you speak of is likely 1095c if from your employer and used to determine if you qualify for premium tax credits. It could be 1095b which is used to determine shared responsibility if you buy private insurance on your own, or 1095a if you purchase on the ACA marketplace website. That is also for tax purposes and credits. The reason for the penalty was to get more younger people enrolled in health insurance since this group typically costs insurers less and helps distribute costs over a larger base or enrollees. In theory, it should reduce the overall cost per person, but in reality, you shift some costs to younger people who do not use the benefits. Dropping the penalty, increased individual costs for others. |

You are a Democrat so it is okay to force people to do stuff they dont want. My insurance went from $400/month or $600/ month and deductible from $500 to $3,500. All cause some asshole wanted to socialize healthcare. I remember stuff that hurts my pocketbook. Why should the govt care if i have insurance? |
