It shouldn’t really be that close That is true. considering all that has happened, Trump should be winning easily. As many Republicans have said, any other candidate would be beating her easily. Some days, I think Trump is trying to lose. |

He assumes Trump takes Pennsylvania and Arizona with no upsets in Georgia and North Carolina. Fair prediction at this point in the polling. But the newest polling show Harris ahead in Georgia, which complicates the computer models. i have seen predictions going both ways based on how they programmed the computer to analyse the polling data. Polymarket also make the same assumptions Nate Silver's model does. A couple of things that should concern you. Every single computer model has no doubt that Harris wins the popular vote. They all count on Trump winning the key states he lost last go around and he may in fact do so. But one key factor I have noticed, that I noticed in the 2016 and 2020 election is the favorability index. In 2016, Hillary was the most hated and lost. In 2020, Trump was the lost hated and lost. In the Biden/Trump 2024 rematch, they were dead even when Biden dropped out. Currently Harris has a favorability rating 0f .01 unfavorable. Most American view her neutrally. Trump has a negative rating of 9.6. This is not a good sign. I think it is too early to make predictions as the polls will change between now and the election. But Trump needs to reverse some trends or he is in trouble. We went from 4 or 5 states being in play to decide the election to now 7 states in play and the trend indicates, if something does not change, 2 more may come into play soon. |

Polls don't mean mierda.
Here's my poll. Cad, Ferris and BF, and millions just like them are all not voting for Trump. That poll is more significant than any of the horserace BS being cited.

I kinda do wonder: if trump wins he’ll be the sitting president (blamed by the gestapo media and the dems) that caused the financial mess we’re about to face. And the entire party will be crushed in future elections If dems win the presidency we’ll be forever crushed as a nation by their horrible policys, war-mongering and their iron-hand control they’ll implement over the nation. As well as suffering the financial mess they created. It’s literally a no win for the future of our country. |

And the entire party will be crushed in future elections If dems win the presidency we’ll be forever crushed as a nation by their horrible policys, war-mongering and their iron-hand control they’ll implement over the nation. My reasoning is slightly different, as I believe Trump's reaction to any economic downturn will be to try and spend his way out and pressure the fed to make bad decisions. I do not think he is capable or prepared to handle it, as he demonstrated with Covid. He will want to downplay it and try to assign blame for it rather than address the issue. He will even make it worse if he implements his tax cuts and credits he keeps promising. We will survive if Harris wins or if Trump wins. The nation has endured worse then what either of them can do. I think you over react to what will happen under a Harris administration as the other side does to a Trump administration. We survived Obama's liberal policies and will survive Harris'. The only difference will be the damage Trump has done and will do to the Republican party and all it has stood for. While the nation will survive if Trump wins, not sure the GOP will. |
