I have on my Kitchen widow appx 30 Wasps. Their all ganged up around each other. They flit around and change positions but they never leave...never. There's a wasp nest about 3 ft' away but they never go there. they just sit on my glass They've been there for a least a week now. WTH is up . In my Country ass guess using the Swag System I think the nest is theirs , They finished their reproduction duties and Winter is approaching. I think their fixin to die.
What say you oh Wise Ones..?

Spray em!
Had em doing that on my patio and sprayed they asses.
One tagged me on the ear while grilling. Declared war and have eliminated at least 15 nests so far. Not searching them out but lil buggers do that aggressive stance, put down whatever im doing and grab the raid. Then proceed w whatever i was doing.

I can see your paying attention to their Body Language... I do the same thing.. I like to slowly sneak up with a Welding glove on and test them. If they remain calm I'll grab the nest and squeeze it like a lemon. Kinda satisfying to reap Death upon those that have Wronged us in the past..

What richm said! We move snakes, ignore spiders and are impressed by bald-faced hornets, scared of ground hornets ( yellow jackets )......and spray all wasps around the cabin/barn!! Just do not like the fact that they will sting with no apparent excuse.

Keeps a Viking Alive knowing Death or Destruction can happen in the blink of an eye. I'm not leaving the house till their gone. If they can get past Mom and into my bedroom I do have a Salt Shooter and I will Light them Up. You could say It's my Call of Duty

No don’t salt shooter them. Get a can of good wasp spray and let them have it from 20’ away. Actually get 2 cans just in case.
Do it quickly so that you can curb them from establishing a larger colony

Interesting. There are studies that appear to indicate the wasps actually can identify those of us that live there and pretty much ignore us as we go in and out. There’s also studies that show a fear of them results in us giving off a fear pheromone causing the wasps to attack. I leave them alone depending on where the nest is, but will on occasion zap them with spray and pull the nest down. I have grand children that could possibly be allergic so I can’t risk that.

I leave them alone. If you don't bother them they won't bother you. They also eat bugs/caterpillars out of my garden so that's a plus.

I patrol my property on a regular basis with a can of 30' wasp spray as my wife is allergic to their sting. Even with benedrill she suffers after getting stung. sumabitches love to sneak in the sheds and start nests. Never open either without a can in my hand. They also like the dock box where i keep the pool supplies. Sneaky little bastards.

I'm not afraid of them and have tolerated them until that one zapped my ear. They would nest in the garage doorway, under the patio roof, etc. Never paid em no mind. Then that little Bruce Lee of wasps decided to kick the sleeping dog. So glad not to be allergic cause they get me once or twice a year - usually when taking trash out and they done built a nest in the handle. "Never" got tagged by the overhead ones until got tagged. That aggressive stance is easy to see, little buggers start dancing. I try to get the whole group with one shot and then will tag those that fly off with air shots (better with those than ducks).

I just grab the nest after dark when they are all on it and smash it in my hand. Never been bit doing it. I dont worry about the small yellow wasps, but the big red and yellow ones are mean critters and have to go.

Mix up some soapy water using Dawn dish detergent and throw it on them.

If you are allergic, don't mess with them. As I pointed out in another thread, my buddy's brother-in-law died recently from Black Jacket (Bald face hornet) wasps. floridaoutdoorforums.com/thread/4860/wasp-stingsI got bad information at first and after further review, he didn't have his epipen with him.

Yellowjackets are what I hate the most, although none of them get a pass if I see em. The little bastards just are mean and attack for just walking close to their nest.

What Swampdog and Pete Said.... I don't kill them.... They are predators and keep other pests in check... And while they are not true pollinators.... In their travels from plant to plant looking for prey.... They do a fair bit of pollinating....
