Hurts like hell, friggen busted a couple about two months ago arguing with a goliath grouper. Had the rod butt tucked up under my arm and it levered and I heard the pop. Sux

Should have exercised more in your younger life. Too late for that now... My exercise habits in my younger years have nothing to do with it... Taking 60 to 100 mg of Prednisone daily along with IV infusions of Solumedrol for months at a time over the last 9 years is the reason.

Getting old sucks! But it sure beats the alternative.

I know that, for women at least, weight bearing exercise can hold off and reverse osteoporosis. Never too late for them, and I would think for you. Large muscle group exercises including walking and stair climbing, squats, deadlifts, rows for your back, if you can do them.
Hoping for a speedy recovery!

yes.... Osteoporosis medications can help reverse bone loss....
I was doing a round of once a month injectables but had bad side effects.
Making sure you get high doses of calcium and vitamin D help as well..
After my ribs heal some (to where everything I do is not painful) My doctor has another bone density test ordered....
I have also broken bones in my feet that were bone density related.
I wondered because I had a family member with weak bones well before old age, and they treated like osteoporosis. Treatments focused on increasing bone density. As silly as this sounds, does it help to chug milk? There are treatments available. You need a GOOD Osteoporosis Doctor. My wife's is in Tampa. If you want his contact info let me know, I would think he would give you a reliable referral in your area. GoodLuck.
Chugging milk is not the answer.

Just passed about 20 kidney stones Chugging milk gave me my first stones about 50 years ago By the way they hurt a little Apple cider vinegar gel caps. Wife had stones for years. Started apple cider vinegar 20 years ago. Has had them once over that time frame. Takes one a day. Don't take the liquid. Bad for your teeth. Pills gave her reflux. Gelcaps don't.

My bride has had 14 lithotripsys. Her sister died from complications with stag horn stones. I’m. Rey familiar with kidney stones. As a matter of record my wife damn near died from sepsis from those damn things.

Drink a glass of grapefruit juice every day to prevent kidney stones.
