"Former President Donald Trump left some Georgia Republicans confused and irritated when he told NBC News he doesn’t support a six-week abortion ban in Florida."
"Trump said the Florida law was “too short — it has to be more weeks. I told them I want more weeks.”
"Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a law last year that bans abortions after six weeks of pregnancy. A measure on the Florida ballot this fall seeks to overturn that law."
"Trump’s campaign quickly tried to walk back his statement, saying it wasn’t meant to signal he supports overturning the law."
“This is completely and utterly grotesque and indefensible,” was the reaction from Cole Muzio, who heads the conservative Frontline Policy Council, a prominent Georgia anti-abortion group."
"And Erick Erickson, the popular Georgia conservative commentator, lamented how Trump “further divided the GOP” on a day when the GOP wanted to focus on attacking Harris."
“If Donald Trump loses, today is the day he lost,” Erickson said."

"TALLAHASSEE, Florida — Donald Trump says he doesn’t support the six-week abortion ban put in place by former ally Gov. Ron DeSantis in the former president’s adopted home state.
"Trump said in a TV interview Thursday that six weeks is too restrictive and he appeared to signal that he supports a November ballot initiative in the state that would overturn the ban imposed last year by DeSantis and Florida Republicans."
"Then, his campaign issued a statement walking it back."
Maggot right doesn't have any idea where reality exists. Constantly contradicting der fuehrer's comments. He didn't really say or mean what he said. Kind of confusing position statements aren't they? Looks like he spent the last month eating whoppers and fries. Anyone notice the baggy clothes in an effort to hide his rotund (see obese) physical presence. FF45's redeeming characteristics? None.
On a past Howard Stern show, Trump said dating was dangerous because of women with sexually transmitted infections. He compared it to the Vietnam War."
"I've been so lucky in terms of that whole world. It is a dangerous world out there — it's scary, like Vietnam. Sort of like the Vietnam era. It is my personal Vietnam. I feel like a great and very brave solider," Trump said."

"The days I keep my gratitude higher than my expectations, I have really good days."
Unfortunately for FF45's lemmings all of his sexist, misogynist, racist lies are recorded for posterity. Hard to deny what is painfully obvious to FF45's legions of haters. But, they don't care and therein lies the problems in our society. Just review the tapes. Works for the NFL. The chickens are coming home to roost.
The only reason there wasn't a primary is because the Trumpsters kept saying he's unfit and should step down. ( Momma always said watch what you wish for.)
Pressure built and so he did.
She will go to the DNC and be nominated according to the rules of her party.
Anyway, why are you so concerned about how the party you abandoned nominates their candidate?
That’s a nice fairytale you’re telling there!
If you actually believe that Trump put Brandon down the road, you’re not too bright.
Team D sent him down the road when they finally came to the realization that they could no longer keep up the charade of him being competent. A judge had already reached the same conclusion and his debate performance was just another nail in his coffin.
if Trump stays on the topic of immigration and inflation during the debate, he could do well. If Harris can get him rattled or off script and into his normal rants, she will win the debate. Her goal should be to rattle him by challenging whatever claims he makes, focus on her popularity with voters, even mention she is leading in polls.
He needs to focus on the issues, she needs to focus on distracting him and calling out his lies.
Agree. She has no policy platform to debate from so distraction is her best bet in a debate against Big Meanie.

Magoo has lost his mind. It's amazing how twisted they have come to rationalize their loss of choice.
“The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.”
It's pretty funny that the UN-democratic party put their leader out to pasture and coronated the next dimwit in the line of succession, and they try to blame Trump for that UN-democratic move. Sure, Trump demonstrated how unfit Biden was after all you dumbass dems voted for him, but the fault is still on you; you voted for an incompetent senile candidate. So now the UN-Democratic Party has a candidate that hasn't received a single vote to become the candidate. Ever. But you guys are the smart ones, so you say...
With each additional conviction, as more and more of his crimes become known, the worse it reflects upon the Grifting Oligarch Party, and on MAGAts. Traitor Trump is taking the GOP down with him. Denial isn’t going to save them. We have the receipts… Some might have a slim chance of sliming through the cracks if they flip flop on him now, but that window is almost closed… This ship is sinking… Will the rats drown or dress up like women and children?
