Seems the Sturgis crowd is giving HD the cold shoulder at Sturgis after it was revealed that it has gone totally woke.

Harley Riders are the biggest sell for me not to buy one. To many lawyers and white collar guys wanting to play Sons of Anarchy on the weekends. Last few gatherings I went to the Dumbfuckery and obnoxious stupidity was over the top. I would absolutely hate for someone to see me on a HD and assume I'm part of that crowd.

How bout a guy who lives in Florida. Hires a company to haul his hawg to Sturgis. He gets off the plane, throws on his leathers and rides a half mile into the mix. It’s really sad.

Alabama has them too. Theres a local conservative radio host that did it. I don’t think he realized how bad it sounded. First class to Sturgis….. then born to be wild.

It wasn’t like that back in the late 60s and early 70s when I rode heavy. Still have a broken tailbone and a pineitle (sp) cyst.
There weren’t any yuppies on shit.
When you are young you are a little foolish. I used to ride in the snow because I didn’t own a car
Had to give up that life so I could work and support my children
Missed it but it all turned out well
Many of my friends didn’t live to old age

Alabama has them too. I'm confused? So it's not the appreciation of the idea but the way that appreciation is expressed that matters? And if one is of the wrong persuasion then the appreciation is to be rejected?

Riders ride
Trailers are for bikes that have broken down
I have a neighbor that made the ride at 77
Nothing but respect for him 👍

the electric starter ruined motorcycling ... we had to kickstart our bikes back in the day that kept the weenies off them

Bikers are all about profiling and being seen. Motorcyclists are all about riding.

Haha. Having some breakfast before I jump on my Harley and ride to the keys.
I agree with most on this thread.
I avoid riding to places that have that lawyer in chaps on the weekends.
There are also people that ship their motorcoaches to a destination and then fly in and camp. Ridiculous.

I owned a classic though. 65 classic- last pan head - first electric start. Would have kept it all original but I got ran over on Lake Shore Drive while riding it. It became a chopper during the repairs
