I’m guessing that’s not real. The diction isn’t period accurate. Its a modern person’s parody of how they think Southerners wrote or talked back then. They wouldn’t be writing “‘n” in place of “ing.”

Southerners didn’t use a lot of conjunctions back then in their speech, and sure didn’t write in conjunctions. They wrote like Foghorn Leghorn quoting Shakespeare with a full classical education.

Reading and comparing their correspondences from the Civil War is a hoot. To request reinforcements, a Yankee would write “send more troops, we’re penned down and under heavy fire” just as we would likely say or write it in modern English and using our modern conjunctions. A Confederate would write “Greetings to my fellow brothers in arms! The enemy doth trouble us like Agamemnon before the gates of Troy. We resist with all of our valor, yet doom shall beset us lest you send a host of arms with great haste!” You know its how they really talked because it was the stuff they’d scribble and send of quickly in the heat of battle with little time to reflect.

So someone took a real slave auction poster and deep faked it to include a lot of fake Southern talk in accordance to how non-Southerners think Southerners talk. Fascinating. The implications are many.
