All ready back from Marathon. Probably gonna do a 3-4 night trip to Alabama later. Ms PD wants to go on a flounder gigging trip and explore around Mobile a while. That part I could do without, but she never complains at all about the money I spend chasing deer and fish. So if she wants to go to Mobile, I'm gonna take her. Flounder gigging will be fun anyway. U.S.S Alabama Bellingrath Gardens Ft Morgan and Ft Gaines (take the ferry across the bay Gulfquest Maritime Museum I wouldn't waist my time or money at Gulf Coast Zoo. We went last week and were pretty disappointed. The Tigers died in 2019 and everything else there is dead or dying. If you like amusement/water parks check our OWA Thanks for the Info. I know about the Alabama and the stuff around it, we will go there for sure. I didn't know about any of the others, but we will check them out for sure. Any restaurants that we shouldn't miss?

Wintzels Oyster House usually has a fresh caught of the day Lamberts down in Foley is pretty cool they throw rolls at you. Don't order a bunch of stuff because they walk around with "pass arounds" that are free with your meal. Fried okra, macaroni and tomatoes, blackened peas, apple butter and a few other things. throwedrolls.com

I swear I've seen Alabama future tight ends make impossible catches of thrown rolls there.

My 7 year old daughter probably dropped a half dozen before the guy came over and under hand tossed her one from about 5 feet. My son in law was sitting in the booth behind me we were in the back corner. Every one they threw him I caught and denied him lol. My 4 year old got to catch a couple too.

Oh yeah there is a small Aquarium on Dauphin Island. And of course FloraBama in Orange beach. If you have kids it can get a little rowdy at night

We leave on Saturday for a week in Lake Keowee with a bunch of cousins from 5-17…then a week in the keys in July. Will also take a long weekend and go somewhere but we haven’t decided where yet.

Felix’s on the causeway has a pretty good lunch. I don’t know about supper. Plenty of parking.

Me and the guys are going to The Caverns/Chattanooga/Nashville 4th of July weekend.
We got another Air BnB on the river are taking the kids to Astor end of July. We are going to get a pontoon boat one day and go to a couple springs while we are there.
Other than that nothing planned but I'm sure we'll get into a few more things while the kids are on summer break.

Wife just told me "we" were planning a trip to NYC after Thanksgiving. I asked her what this "we" shit was?
Turns out she's going with her sister.

NYC is a fun place to visit and right after Thanksgiving it will be gorgeous with all the holiday decorations.
But, been there, done that. Ain't my cup of tea anymore.
For anyone who has not been to NYC tween Thanksgiving and New Years, I'd highly recommend it.
