When it comes to support of Iranian dissidents it seems that most forgot about the events in 2012? As far as the cause of the crash,, let’s just say that the aircraft, their support and logistics along with the training of both the ground support and aircrews leave a lot to be desired. It’s not surprising that it slammed into a fog shrouded mountain, no matter the reason.

Have you said a prayer to Allah since you seem to think the President of Iran is dead? If you actually read real news, you would have known too. They were delaying the announcement until they could get their military in place. Sometimes I'm impressed I agree with you. Other times it scares the hell out of me.

Iran directly blamed the U.S. for their president's death. Saying the cruel sanctions and their inability to get aircraft parts were to blame. Well he'll it's only taken 40 years but we finally got the bastard.
Yes the Iranian people are fed up with the Islamic Regime. But we see what can happen when a small but fervent group of religious zealots take hold of a country and rule it with an iron fist. Pay attention. The minivan taliban would love to turn us into our own Republic of Gilead.

The dead president killed thousands. One of his favorite methods of execution was to toss people out of an airplane or helicopter.
Kind of ironic the way he died.

Apparently logistics got in the way of our helping.

However I do not blame the DOD for not being Johnny on the spot to fly into Iran and assist. Even though I have no doubt we have assets in the region more than capable. There are just too many warring factions and unstable groups that might not have got the memo we were there to help and the risk of loss to our service members far outweigh any diplomatic goodwill that could have come from it. But I would be very surprised if we did not in fact help them locate the wreckage through more passive means and back channels. We probably knew when and where the helicopter went down before they did. As I've stated before our biggest fear with Iran is a sudden and chaotic regime change that opens the door to ISIS/ISIL or even the Taliban seizing control. As shitty as Iran is they are somewhat more civilized than ISIS or their cousins the Taliban. The best thing we have going for us in the region is those two groups don't like each other and are not cooperating.

Are we kidding ourselves about Iran's intentions? Nuclear capabilities in the hands of religious zealots? Yeah, we'll help them find this piece of shit. I don't think so. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, they continue to support terrorism globally and suppress freedom in Iran. Sound familiar?

The US is not going on a search and rescue mission for a dead fake leader of a terrorist nation, in heavy fog, on the side of a mountain range in the middle of bum fuck Egypt......that last part is an expression. Isis doesnt exist any more, in case you didn't get the memo. The next President of Iran, will be a eunich, maybe not a sadist like the last one, but still a token leader. Taliban doesn't give a rats ass about Iran. They sell opium on the world market, and are damn happy to have that monopoly. Lastly, the Ayotollah, is not civilized at all, far from it. He funds Hamas, who happily carries out the terrorism of radical muslisms. Period. Period. Period.

Not bad...except "bumfuck" is one word, you didn't need the comma between "Ayatollah" (note correct spelling) and "is", and we still need to work on that whole quoting thing.

You know I won the spelling bee in eight grade at my private school. Then gagged in downtown Tampa before state. My teacher even csme.....and saw me lose. Talk about disappointment

I'm friends on Facebook with a couple of my English and literature teachers. I routinely Apologize to them. They really were good teachers and really tried.
