What I never figured out is why many Asians are not overweight when rice is their primary meal with a small amount of protein and vegetables mixed in. The same people when they come to America eat the same diet and gain weight. Enriched foods and chemical Fertilizer

Also, need a full body, not a head profile.

Gotta wear the same shirt frog. Like the weight loss infomercials. It was just a random idea I had. I almost always take a picture of my fresh haircut and I realized today I could go back and find a haircut pic from before I started dieting and compare myself. When I started the weight loss I was at the first belt notch.

Also, need a full body, not a head profile. I don’t have any of me shirtless at a full 290. Can’t say I ever had reason to think that would be a worth-while pic.

What I never figured out is why many Asians are not overweight when rice is their primary meal with a small amount of protein and vegetables mixed in. The same people when they come to America eat the same diet and gain weight. They are also physically active. Lots of walking and working outdoors, gardening etc. I also find it confusing when I read that rice is supposed to be bad but yet they eat it by the ton along with other cultures. 🤔

rice is not 'bad unless it has been bleached white ... then it is not healthy White rice is not bleached, it has had the hull, bran. and germ removed. Brown rice still has the bran and germ. White rice is not unhealthy, it just doesn't have the same amount of fiber and nutrients brown rice has.

My shorts/pants were 38-40" for a majority of my 30's and early 40's. I was doing ac and landscaping maintance work for several years a few years ago. I went from 210 down to 178 and wore 34" shorts/pants for about a year. Now that I'm working in the office again I'm staying around 195 and wearing 36" shorts/pants. as long as I can stay at this weight I'm happy. Anything over 200 and I start to feel it.
I did somewhat of a fast this weekend. I ate lunch Friday and didn't have anything except for a very small bag of chips yesterday afternoon.
