So you apparently believe that her constituents vote according to a politician’s similarity to their “demographic”, rather than according to their actual position on issues. Interesting viewpoint. Sad. But still interesting. Just the realities of Georgia voters. What's really sad is that she lied to their faces and took their money to get in to office, and then stabbed them all in the back for her personal political gain. She'll fit right in to the GOP. I have no problem if she'd had run as in independent, but party switchers, on either side, are scumbag liars. Richard Shelby took AFL CIO money to get elected and then switched parties and voted against EVERYTHING they supported for 30 years. |

That’s a hard line BT. Anyone that pony’s up a lot of money for a candidate is most often just helping move their ideology along. I know some folks donate to a campaign and then vote for another candidate. Some voters donate to both parties candidates.
As others have said a person can certainly change their party and their political beliefs. A good politician can be successful on either side of the political machine. I disagree with getting so worked up over campaign dollars a candidate was elected with. You have displayed a chink in your armor over financial contributions. Going from your normal liberal societal mantra, to one of purely financial, raises serious credibility on your belief for the betterment of society and government.
This is so unlike you, you might need a break before getting back on this political gaming arena.
