STP oil treatment on a Maxwell House(blue)coffee can works too.

they sound similar to black flies ... those things bite like a MF'er If you know black flies, you know deer flies/copperheads - that's what the yellow flies are. Always hated mud season up north, that was fly season and when the dirt roads were usually closed so folks wouldn't ruin them. It was also prime trout fishing time. I found those bug head nets later in life but love them now.

I have been ignoring this thread due to its title, glad it didn’t go where I thought it was.

STP oil treatment on a Maxwell House(blue)coffee can works too. The plastic coffee cans are perfect, I know.

I went hiking at Payne's prairie Sunday. They weren't TOO bad but you don't want to stay in one place very long.

I just switched back to Maxwell House coffee so I can save the empty plastic cans. I hate those little bastards. My son gets anaphylactic shock. They could kill him. Got to keep the population down around the house.
