Just harvested from my front yard pineapple plantation. I would have preferred to leave it a couple more days, but the varmints are getting to them just before I'm ready to harvest.

Pineapples are one of my favorite fruits. Every one we have grown has been 10X sweeter then any grocery store bought ones. We probably have 20 or so through out our property. It seems like only a few produce fruit every year, but damn they are good. Just bought and assembled a big greenhouse for the wife and i know there will be a few new ones started in there..............as well as a couple of "my plants"

sauteed yellowtail with capers, sliced and browned shallots, golden raisins and toasted pine nuts cooked in avocado oil and mirin. heart healthy and delicious

I just put up 24 king hawaiian sliders (deer, pepper jack, red onions and mustard). Momma busted out the 30 year old sunbeam rotisserie and made a 5# mojo chicken ,Caesar and pasta salad. We good for a couple days anyway.

Our Pineapples are doing great. We’ve enjoyed two and froze a couple more. There are four getting ripe as we speak and yes to the varmint dance. We’ve eaten out too much last week. Gotta get back in the kitchen…

Mangrove snapper and kingfish - will sauté in olive oil with garlic slices.
I'm on a diet or we'd be having roasted potatoes and onions with it as opposed to the boiled green beans...
Down 8 pounds since Monday. Hoping for an even 10# loss on Monday. No carbs at all - salads and meat...just for a couple more weeks, then taper into other foods. I need to lose 80#, well 72#

Grilled burgers and made crispy Brussel sprouts in the oven. The sprouts were delicious, if mom made them this way instead of boiling the crap out of them, I may have eaten them growing up.

I bought a BJ's rotisserie chicken today so I shrededded the breast meat and one leg quarter to make Arroz Imperial tomorrow for my sister who is recovering from surgery. I ate the remaining leg quarter with some instant mashed potatoes and broccoli. My wife is out of the country so I am keeping it simple.
